Especially designed for the Polish Children's Heartline are Trees of Life. One tree was sculpted from solid coal by local miners and is in Ochojec-Katowice. A second tree in Zabrze was designed and produced from wood by the students of the Art School of Zabrze. A third tree is at the Mothers Hospital in Lodz. Adorning these trees are engraved hearts bestowing permanent recognition to Heartline contributors from around the world.
For a donation of $100 or more, an appropriately engraved heart will be placed on either of the trees in the main lobby of the Slask Center of Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology in Zabrze, Ochojec-Katowice, or the Mothers Hospital in Lodz, Poland.
Donations may also be made in memory of a loved one, or commemorate birthdays, graduations, anniversaries or special occasions with a donation made in their honor.
